Below you will see a chart of the FTSE 100. I entered a trade long when the price broke through the 4400 level. You will also note that the 20 day moving average (red line) and 40 day moving average (green) are turning to point upwards.
I exirted the trade when the price back below the 20 day moving average at just below 5000. This trade resulted in a profit of just under 600 points.
